Halloween 2009

Our little goblins had a great time trick-or-treating this year. We had a Zombie vampire(Haislee),Count Dracula(Grey)and a baby Owl. They we soooo fuuny! The week getting to halloween was a little crazy but we made it. I had to make 30 cupcakes for Haislee's 1st grade class which took about 3 hrs. First they had to be baked then fill with green whipping cream for guts, then frosted, dipped in brown sprinkles, red hots for eyes and pull and peels for legs. Not to mention they had to be frozen first just so I could stick them in because of how soft they were:( What a project...I know it sounds like I should be Mom of the year....but I didn't tell you that Thursday was Grey's Halloween party at school and being the outstanding Mom I am, totally forgot and sent my poor little boy without his vampire costum that he had been telling his whole class about for days. Dang and I really thought I was doing so well, I guess there is always next year!

Vacation

Next time we are bring Abbey on vacation to take pictures, Mike always looks stoned:) We had such a relaxing time, the best! Now its back to the real world.

{RE}cycled

I am so excited to be opening the new store. Things have been going pretty good, new stuff is coming in quickly. Sometimes I think I am so crazy for doing this, but its something I really love, and am committed to. The store is coming along nicely and I cant wait to get stared on painting it and see it turn into a real place and not just storage:) I think we should be opening sometime in October, if all goes well with the awning...it is my biggest nightmare! Anyway the new blog is recycledconsignanddesign.blogspot.com, check it out I did post a few of the {RE}cycled items that I could get to. I ordered some really great stuff at market and cant wait to see it because I cant really remember all I bought:) Thanks to everyone for all your support. You are the best!!!

A rough week...

Poor Grey has really had a rough week. First he has been so excited to play on the new playground our neighbors were putting up, and then had a fall off the monkey bars which got him a black eye and a huge bloody nose. Then the following day he was riding Porters two wheeler( which he taught himself to do ) and had a crash with the sidewalk and earned himself a road rash all down his arm and back. If I didn't know better I would think he was being beat:) Poor kid....

Ledger

I am sooo in love!!!! I forgot how much fun it is to have a new baby. I really cant help but take pictures of him, I just wish they didn't grow so fast. We are having Abby take pictures of him next week and I can't wait to see what she does!!! I will post tons of them, I'm sure:)

Our favorite things about him....
1.)He is so cuddly
2.)His hair is dark...even if it will fall out and turn blonde!!!
3.)He "mells" so good.(Translation for Grey, Smells).
4.)How tiny he is.
5.)He sleeps so well.

He is here.....Finally!!!

Ledger Harrison Hill arrived on June 3rd at 12:30pm. We are all so excited to finally have him here! The delivery was a little rough but the end turned out perfect. I am just posting a couple picks until I get a sec to up date more!!!
